Prince Ebere Nwokoro, Partner

Prince Ebere is the Principal Partner of TheFirm. He is responsible for the development of service strategies for the firm for growth and continuity. He is a member of the following professional bodies: Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, Nigerian Institute of Management, International Bar Association, Nigeria Bar Association, The International Association of Chiefs of Police and The International Corrections and Prisons Association, inter alia.

Prince Nwokoro holds a Bachelor of laws (LL.B), Master of laws (LL.M), Barrister at law (B.L) and several Post Graduate Certificates on different areas of Public Law from Harvard and University of Pretoria respectively; and has successfully complete his Ph.D coursework.

His specialty is Commercial law, including Business transactions, Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining, Environmental law and Labour relations. He is equally versed in Intellectual property, Immigration and Admiralty matters. Price Ebere has been in active legal practice since 1990 and has a working experience covering extensive litigation. He is also a Notary Public for Nigeria, a 5 Star Paul Harris Fellow and a past Assistant-Governor and past District Parliamentarian in Rotary International District 9110, Nigeria.

Chidolue E. Okafor Esq., Partner
LL.B, B.L. (Nig) Member of the New York Bar & SOLICITOR  (England WALES) 

Mr. Okafor, a 1989 Law graduate of the University of Calabar, has a multi jurisdictional background. He is a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, a Solicitor (England & Wales) and an Attorney with license to practice in New York.

Mr. Okafor who is a Senior Partner in the firm is active in mainstream immigration litigation both nationally and internationally. He represents a broad range of clients in disputes including actions relating to Corporate law, Complex Commercial transactions, Property law and Telecommunication law. He has been on a team providing advice to major communication companies in Nigeria and once served as General Manager (Regulation & Compliance) in NITEL.

He carries out due diligence for investment related transactions and advices clients on legal and regulatory compliance. Mr. Okafor had previously worked in reputable law firms both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom before joining the firm as a Senior Partner.

Okechukwu Ezea Esq., Partner
B. Sc, LL.B, LL.M, Doctorial Candidate, BL

He was educated at University of Nigeria, Nsukka and the University of Lagos and holds a B.Sc in Political Science, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and Master of Laws (LL.M). A former superintendent of customs and director in a foremost oil services company, he brings a knowledge of the customs and energy sector processes to his work on behalf of domestic and international clients. Mr. Ezea is a senior partner.

Awa A. Awa is an alumnus of University of Calabar having been called to the bar in 1990. He obtained his LL.M from the Lagos State University, Ojo and has a track record of vibrant legal practice with emphasis on criminal prosecution, defence and human rights litigation.

Eno Akpan (Ms), Associate Partner

 Eno Akpan received her law degree from the University of Cross River State and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Science and Technology Port Harcourt. She has worked in reputable organizations in Nigeria, the Gambia and Denmark and practices in the firm’s Human Rights, Environmental, ADR and Labour relations Dept. She also heads the Pro Bono activities section.

Nkeiru Chukwueke holds an LL.B degree of the University of Cross River State and M.A. degree in International Trade of the University of Leeds. She practices in the business transactions, energy, environmental and labour relations dept. of the firm.

Mr. Ugoeke is a seasoned trial counsel. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987, he has been providing general litigation services to our clients at both trial and appellate levels and maintains a record of having appeared and argued matters in all courts (inferior & superior) of record in Nigeria. He heads the litigation section.

Chris Ewuzie is a chartered secretary. He received his law degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and a Master of Laws Degree from the University of Lagos. He is into corporate, securities, company secretarial duties and business transactions practice.

He is an alumnus of College of Education Akamkpa, Cross River State and University of Uyo. A prolific writer and analyst who has lived in many parts of Nigeria, He has a flair for advocacy and corporate affairs and has been actively involved in criminal defence, human rights, civil and commercial litigations. Mr. Ejimfugha is the Head of Chambers Administration.

Uche Ohia is simply cerebral: a lawyer, businessman, public policy analyst, syndicated columnist, Research Consultant and New Ideas Developer. He attended Imo State University; University of Port Harcourt and University of Uyo where he garnered the BA; MA; LL.B; and BL degrees. Before joining TheFIRM Chambers he was a counsel at Njemanze & Njemanze and Uche Ohia & Co where he was exposed to diverse aspects of legal practice

Mrs. Sylvia Ndubuisi Ike is an alumnus of Abia State University Uturu. She is in the commercial Division specializing in Tax Law and allied matters.

Mrs. Nzeh is a graduate of University of Lagos and is currently enrolled in the same institution for her LL.M program. She is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and practices in the family and criminal law divisions of the firm.

Mrs Chinyere has extensive practical experience  in company law matters (Ownership &  Management) and specializes in the following practice areas:- Company Secretarial duties, Secured Credit transactions, Securities & Commodities. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of chartered Arbitrators and the Nigerian Immigration Lawyers Association.

Temidayo Odulaja Esq., Associate

 Temidayo Odulaja graduated magna cum laude from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2007, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B). He then proceeded to Nigeria Law School where he graduated with in 2008 with a B.L. His practice experience cuts across various parts of the country, and diverse areas of law. He is presently in the Litigation and Commercial Dept of TheFIRM Chambers.

Chukwuka is a graduate of Imo State University, Owerri. He is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Chukwuka is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, NIM, Certified Institute of Auctioneers, Nigeria. He holds Certificates from the World Intellectual Property Organization, Distance Learning Academy and the World Intellectual Property Organization Summer School. He is currently enrolled at the University of Lagos for his Masters in Law programme and is a member of the Nigerian Immigration Lawyers Association.

Tahav graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria-Nigeria and the Nigerian Law School, Lagos.
